John Harvard, CPA | Owner, Principal

John Harvard is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 11 years of experience building lasting business relationships to help ensure long-term financial success for his clients. From establishing accounting functions, systems and best practices, to consulting on cost-reduction strategies, automation and tax strategies, John focuses on a big-picture view of financial management to help clients reach their goals.

John earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from Florida State University – one in accounting and the other finance and real estate – before earning his CPA designation in 2002. He gained great experience and insight by working at two respected Tallahassee CPA firms before launching his own business in 2007.

His reputation for integrity and hard work has earned him the respect of clients ranging from large corporations and political candidates to foundations and mom-and-pop businesses throughout the region.

John was raised in nearby Live Oak, Fla., and grew up traveling to Tallahassee to attend FSU home games.  He is now thrilled to be going to the games with his own family.  After April 15 every year, John spends as much time as possible with his family, going to weekend soccer games, playing golf and watching football.  He and his family are members of Wildwood Church.  His wife, Kimberly, also has an accounting degree but currently stays at home with their children, Jack, Tyler and Sidney. | Email John

Stephen D. Cutright, CPA | Senior Accountant

Stephen D. Cutright, CPA | Senior AccountantStephen is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 25 years of experience performing tax, auditing and controller work.

Stephen received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in accounting from Stetson University. He is a Florida licensed CPA and is active with the Tallahassee Chapter of the Florida Institute of CPAs, having served on various committees and as president.

Stephen started his career as a CPA in Naples, Fla., working for Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) before moving to Tallahassee. He worked as both a senior accountant and auditor for Gardner & Co, CPA and a controller for Barrett, Daffin & Carlan, Inc., a Tallahassee architectural and engineering firm. From 1990-2004, Stephen served as a partner with Carroll & Company, CPA, where he performed tax, auditing and accounting services, including QuickBooks training, for his clients. Before joining John Harvard CPA, he was the sole shareholder of Stephen D. Cutright, CPA.

Stephen is a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee Class IVX and is a Financial Peace University coordinator and instructor. He is also the Resource Committee Chairman of Canopy Roads Baptist Church. | Email Stephen

Terri P. Boukater, CPA | Senior Accountant

Terri is a Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience in both public accounting and serving health care professionals. Before joining John Harvard CPA, Terri was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Insurance Officer for the 30th largest optical/optometric practice in the United States. She worked there for 18 years before returning to her “first love”- public accounting.

Born and raised in Key West, Fla., Terri spent her middle school years in Gainesville where she got the University of Florida in her blood. After moving back, she began working at a CPA firm in Key West at the age of 15 and decided then what her career path would be.

Terri earned her AA degree from the University of Florida and began her accounting curriculum there before transferring to Florida State University.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from FSU with bachelor’s degrees in finance and accounting.  She then went on to earn her CPA designation.

Nancy Romans, CPA | Senior Accountant

A Certified Public Accountant with 15 years of experience in public accounting, auditing and financial investigation, Nancy is an invaluable resource for our clients. From day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting needs to long-term business and financial planning, she is committed to helping each client make wise decisions for their financial future.

Nancy received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C., and her fifth year from Florida State University. She is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida and is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

In addition to more than 15 years of public accounting experience, Nancy spent four years with the Internal Revenue Service as an agent in the Small Business/Self-Employed division, where she audited small business tax returns and individual tax returns. The experience and knowledge she acquired at the IRS is an invaluable resource to our clients.

Now happy to be back in public accounting, Nancy specializes in assisting small business/self-employed clients as well as not-for-profit organizations. She has extensive knowledge of QuickBooks, which includes the initial setup of the database, payroll functions, inventory module, accounting and reporting functions.

In her spare time, Nancy loves to travel, read, walk and do anything related to the beach. She has two sons. | Email Nancy

Kyle Malone | Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant, Kyle assists the firm with bookkeeping and tax preparation and providing clients with a variety of accounting services.

Growing up in Jesup, Ga., Kyle had plans to become a CPA, but started working as a self-employed residential home builder instead. After moving to Tallahassee in 2004, he served as the vice president/operations manager of More Space Place for seven years before deciding to return to school and pursue his degree.

Kyle worked as a cabinetmaker and a government analyst for DCF/OPBI while earning his AA degree from TCC. He earned his accounting degree from Flagler College and is currently working toward his CPA designation.

Kyle enjoys fishing, golfing and hunting after tax season is over. He is married to his wife, Tiffany, and they have a son and daughter. | Email Kyle

Liam Callaghan | Staff Accountant

Liam received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Flagler College, where he graduated Cum Laude.

Liam is a State of Florida Certified Building Contractor and a State of Florida Certified Roofing Contractor. He specializes in helping clients related to small business and construction management.

In his spare time, Liam enjoys spending time outdoors fishing and hunting, or playing golf and tennis. He is married with two beautiful daughters. | Email Liam

Anthony Gaudio | Business Management Consultant

As Business Management Consultant, Anthony provides clients with business start-up assistance, systems analysis, business valuations, exit strategy, succession planning, and profitability and return-on-investment analysis.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Anthony has lived in Tallahassee since 1981. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Tampa, and attended University of South Florida Graduate School.

From 1973 through 1981 Anthony operated both a septic tank service and an excavating company in Tennessee before moving to Tallahassee. After working for two years as the Administrator for the then-Leon County Food Co-op (now New Leaf Market), he started Apalachee Backhoe and Septic Tank, which he sold in 2007, and Apalachee Excavating Inc., which he sold in 2009.

Anthony, who holds dual U.S. and Italian citizenship, has served on several different nonprofit boards for over 30 consecutive years and is currently the president of Sustainable Tallahassee. He is married to Lyn Kittle and has three sons and three daughters. | Email Anthony

Willetta Best | Staff Accountant

Willetta Best has more than 20 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting and is an integral part of the customer service and tax preparation process. Willetta earned her Bachelor of Science degree in education from Edinboro University.

After moving to Tallahassee in 1980, Willetta worked as a middle school math teacher before transitioning to bookkeeping and tax preparation. She went on to provide accounting services to RE Property Management and Construction full-time, and worked for two Tallahassee CPA firms during tax season. She has been with John Harvard, CPA since 2010.

Willetta has a soft spot for dogs, and dreams of owning a farm with an on-site veterinarian where older dogs could retire. | Email Willie

Minnie J. Cloud | Administrative Assistant/Office Manager

Minnie J. Cloud was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. She worked at Gulf Oil Company in Atlanta for more than 12 years, holding five different positions and receiving multiple promotions.

In 1991, she decided it was time for a change. Minnie moved to Tallahassee where she worked for Unglaub and Cloud Corporation, as well as Leonard C. Costin, CPA. She has been with John Harvard, CPA, P.A. since 2008 and has more than 15 years experience working with accounting. Minnie enjoys spending time with her family, especially visits from her children and grandchildren. | Email Minnie
